titleOfInvention | Sliding and wear-resistant flexible shock absorbing buffer pad, garment incorporating the pad, manufacturing method and method of use |
abstract | In one embodiment, the present invention relates to a buffer pad. The buffer pad includes a buffer region including an upper surface, a lower surface, a thickness, and a width. The buffer region is disposed between the continuous upper layer and the continuous lower layer, and includes a buffer material continuously bonded thereto. A channel path is disposed around the buffer region to define the buffer region and has a thickness that is less than the buffer region. The channel path further includes the continuous upper layer and the continuous lower layer, the continuous upper layer being at least partially bonded to the continuous lower layer. The wear resistant material can include an upper continuous layer and / or can be an additional layer disposed over the continuous upper layer. [Selection] Figure 1 |
