Golf balls having specific relationships and values of their initial speed at various club head speeds are provided. Golf balls have a typical initial speed at low club head speeds, but increase the initial speed at high club head speeds. Thus, the golf ball can be advantageously used by both amateur golfers with lower swing speeds and professional golfers with higher swing speeds. The golf ball may also achieve an initial speed of at least about 173 mph (about 278 km / h) at a club head speed of about 125 mph (about 201 km / h), thus achieving an increase in total shot distance. |
