HSP90 combination therapy |
abstract |
The present invention includes (a) subject-derived cancer cells under conditions such that one or more cancer pathway components present in a sample bind to an HSP90 inhibitor or an analog, homolog or derivative of an HSP90 inhibitor. The sample to be contacted with an inhibitor of Hsp90 or an analog, homolog or derivative of an inhibitor of Hsp90; And (c) analyzing the path component detected in step (b) to identify a path that includes the component detected in step (b) and additional components of such path; d) selecting an inhibitor of the pathway or pathway component identified in step (c). Hsp90 inhibitors and for administration simultaneous to subjects Tsu, relates to a method for selecting inhibitors of the components of the path of the path or cancer related cancer relationship. The invention further relates to a method of treating cancer patients by co-administering an inhibitor of Hsp90 and an inhibitor of a cancer-related pathway or component thereof. |
