titleOfInvention Endoscope system adapter
abstract An adapter and adapter kit are described that can be configured such that the adapter can be removably coupled to the working channel of an endoscopic system, such as a hysteroscopic system. The adapter is an elongated body having a central lumen extending between the distal and proximal ends of the elongated body and between the distal and proximal ends of the body. A body having a curvature along a length of the body. The adapter can be configured to accommodate changes in the patient's anatomy, such as changes in the size and shape of the uterus and the position of the stoma with respect to the fallopian tube. Multiple non-identical adapters with a number of different properties can be sold in the kit so that a particular adapter can be selected for use with a particular patient anatomy.
