abstract | A modified poly wherein the single fiber bristles have a flexural modulus of 2500 MPa or less measured according to ISO 178: 2001, a tensile modulus of elasticity of 2600 MPa or less measured according to ISO 527-2: 1993, respectively, and a breaking elongation% of about 20% or less. Made from a trimethylene terephthalate composition, the composition having: (a) 65-95% by weight of at least one polytrimethylene terephthalate, and (b) having a Shore hardness of 55 or more measured according to ISO 868. Disclosed are single fiber bristles comprising% by weight of at least one copolyether-ester. The present invention also discloses brushes comprising single fiber bristles. |
