abstract |
The porous membrane can be manufactured using a polymer binder and filler material using a liquid pore former that has a lower surface free energy than the filler and higher than the polymer. The pores of the membrane can be formed by the repulsive force of the pore former on the polymer, while the filler can be contained in the membrane structure by the attractive force of the polymer on the filler. The filler may be particles as small as or less than the wall thickness of the microporous structure. [Selection] Figure 1 |
