To develop a new treatment for a precancerous cervical dysplastic lesion caused by high-risk HPV and to prevent the lesion from progressing to carcinoma in situ and / or invasive cervical cancer . [Solution] The present invention provides a mucoadhesive biopolymer formulation that is heat sensitive and promotes penetration of therapeutic agents through the skin or mucosal surface. In a preferred embodiment, the biopolymer formulation comprises a copolymer of poloxamer 188 and propylene glycol, laurocapram, and optionally one or more therapeutic agents. The present invention also provides the use of the above biopolymer formulation for the local treatment of cancers such as cervical cancer. [Selection] Figure 1 |
