Protein complex and method for producing vaccine composition containing the protein complex |
abstract |
The present invention relates to a method for producing a heat shock protein complex for use in a vaccine composition. In particular, methods are provided to increase the level and immunogenicity of heat shock protein complexes produced in cells by exposing the cells to stimuli that contain specific stresses. The invention further extends to the use of the heat shock protein complex produced by the method of the invention in the preparation of the vaccine composition of the invention and in the treatment of infection and cancer symptoms. |
