titleOfInvention | Low molecular weight phosphorus-containing polyacrylic acids and their use as dispersants |
abstract | A method for producing an aqueous solution of an acrylic acid polymer by polymerizing acrylic acid by a feed operation using a radical initiator in the presence of hypophosphorous acid (salt) in water as a solvent, (I) charge water and optionally one or more ethylenically unsaturated comonomers; (ii) unneutralized acid type acrylic acid, optionally one or more ethylenically unsaturated comonomers, radical initiation (Iii) a base is added to the aqueous solution after completion of the acrylic acid feed, wherein the comonomer content is based on the total monomer content. As follows, during which the hypophosphorous acid (salt) aqueous solution is added during a total feed time of three consecutive feed time intervals Δt I , Δt II and Δt III. Addition In this case, the average feed speed in the second feed time interval Δt II is larger than the average feed speed in the first and third feed time intervals Δt I and Δt III . |
