abstract |
It is an object of the present invention to provide an application of a porous diaphragm and its composite membrane in a redox flow battery. The present invention relates to the application of a porous diaphragm and its composite membrane in a redox flow battery, and in particular, to an application in a vanadium redox flow battery. The diaphragm can effectively realize separation between ions in different valence states, and can realize ion conduction without the need for any ion exchange group. It is possible to control the pore diameter and pore structure of the porous membrane by filling with inorganic substances or grafting ion exchange groups in the pores, and to increase the proton transmission rate by increasing the vanadium ion permeation suppression property of the porous membrane. |
