abstract | Disclosed is a detergent composition comprising a multi-purpose soluble silicate, a surfactant, a polyol and water. The multipurpose cleaner composition of the present invention is generally intended for cleaning all kinds of surfaces including schools, offices, homes and other places; especially wood, carpet, tile, concrete and glass. In one embodiment of the present invention, the molar ratio of soluble silicate in the multipurpose detergent composition is at least 2.5 moles of silicate per mole of alkali metal oxide. In another embodiment of the invention, the multipurpose cleaning composition has a pH level in the range of about 10.5 to about 11.9. In another embodiment of the present invention, the multi-purpose cleaning composition is further diluted by adding water to provide from about 1 part water to 1 part multi-purpose cleaning for 1 part multi-purpose cleaning composition. Various solutions can be made, including up to about 500 parts water for the agent composition. [Selection] Figure 1 |
