Liquid virus preparation |
abstract |
The present invention provides a liquid virus formulation useful for virus stabilization and storage and a method for preparing this formulation. The liquid virus formulations described herein include non-viral compositions comprising a virus (eg, a purified virus) and excipients and a liquid carrier. The formulation can be used, for example, to retain the infectivity or immunogenicity of the virus during storage. Also provided herein are methods for making viral formulations. The method provides a virus and combines the virus with a non-viral composition comprising an excipient and a liquid carrier as described herein. |
