abstract | The present invention discloses a method for improving the thermal stability of polypropylene carbonate (PolyPropylene Carbonate). Specifically, if necessary, an isocyanate or diisocyanate is added to a polypropylene carbonate resin which can be in the form of a mixture with a tertiary polyol, and end-capping of the polypropylene carbonate molecular chain with a urethane group (End capping). It is related with the method of ensuring thermal stability by delaying the thermal decomposition of polypropylene carbonate at a high temperature. In particular, this method has the advantage of ensuring economic efficiency by simplifying the process by presenting a method that can be easily applied in the extrusion process after the production process of polypropylene carbonate, and the transparency that is an advantage of polypropylene carbonate.
