[Object] To provide a cell culture article and a method for using the same, particularly a medium article free of animal-derived components, which is suitable for supporting the culture of stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes. Synthetic surfaces suitable for culturing cardiomyocytes derived from stem cells (ES cells) include monomers composed of di (meth) acrylates of alkynediols such as ethylene glycols, glycerol and 1,4-butanediol.
