titleOfInvention Method and apparatus for accessing multiple radio bearers
abstract A mechanism for appropriately determining which RAT should be a connection destination when switching a connection from a wireless terminal between RATs is realized. A feature of traffic received on a first RAT is identified, and the traffic is received using a security function, a QoS function, or a throughput supported by a second RAT based on the identified feature. The presence / absence of necessity is determined, and if necessary, the wireless terminal is instructed to switch the connection to the second RAT. In addition, the characteristics of the traffic received on the first RAT are identified, and based on the identified characteristics, the presence / absence of the regulation is determined, and the regulation is applied from the wireless terminal to the network service via the first RAT. If the first RAT is applied to the access attempt or traffic transmission and there is a need, the wireless terminal is instructed to switch the connection to the second RAT to which the restriction is not applied.
