Disclosed is a toner for developing an electrostatic charge image that has low-temperature fixability and long-term stability in charging performance, and that has heat-resistant storage stability and suppresses occurrence of uneven gloss, and a method for producing the same. . In an electrostatic charge image developing toner comprising toner particles having a domain-matrix structure in which a domain phase is dispersed in a matrix phase, the matrix phase is made of a vinyl resin, and the domain phase is amorphous. It is characterized in that fine particles of a crystalline polyester resin are dispersed in an amorphous resin formed by chemically bonding a polyester segment and a vinyl polymer segment.
