The present invention provides a chlorinated vinyl chloride resin molded article having both impact resistance and heat resistance, and a resin composition capable of producing such a molded article. A thermochlorinated vinyl chloride resin composition includes a thermochlorinated vinyl chloride resin and an impact modifier, and is substantially free of an inorganic compound as a heat stabilizer. This provides the improved impact resistance of the thermochlorinated polyvinyl chloride resin while maintaining an acceptable level of heat resistance. Preferably, the impact modifier is a copolymer of an alkyl (meth) acrylate monomer component and a diene rubber polymer, and the content of the alkyl (meth) acrylate monomer component in the copolymer is: It contains 26 wt% or more and 40 wt% or less, and particles having an average particle size of 0.1 to 240 µm.
