abstract |
A MOS type solid-state imaging device having a large-area light-receiving region capable of high-quality readout at high speed and an imaging device using the same are provided. A first semiconductor element having a photoelectric conversion unit and a pixel circuit and a second semiconductor element having a pixel driving circuit and a pixel signal readout circuit are stacked, and the outer shape of the first semiconductor element is a second semiconductor. It is larger than the outer shape of the element, and the wiring direction of the global wiring connected to the pixel signal output portions of the plurality of pixel circuits is orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the second semiconductor element outer shape.
