abstract | [PROBLEMS] To provide a plastic polarizing lens which is excellent in processing characteristics and the like and excellent in adhesiveness between a polarizing film and a plastic lens, and thus excellent in productivity and suitable for mass production. A plastic polarizing lens of the present invention includes a polarizing film made of thermoplastic polyester, a coating layer formed on at least one surface of the polarizing film, and at least the coating layer of the polarizing film with the coating layer. And a base layer made of a thiourethane resin, and the coat layer is an aromatic polyester composed of a structural unit derived from a compound having a hydroxyl group and a structural unit derived from an aromatic dicarboxylic acid.
