abstract A method of manufacturing a needle-like member having a plating formed accurately at a tip portion is provided. A manufacturing method of the present invention is a method of manufacturing a needle-like member 60 having a tip formed with plating, and a plating solution 20 and an organic solvent 30 not mixed with the plating solution 20 are mutually connected. The plating tank 10 accommodated in a separated state is prepared, the tip 62 of the needle-like member 60 is formed in the plating solution 20, and the needle-like member 60 is plated. This includes disposing a portion 64 that is not formed and at least a portion 64 adjacent to the plating forming portion 62 in the organic solvent 30, and forming plating on the tip of the needle-like member 60.
