titleOfInvention | Electrostatic image developing toner, electrostatic image developer, process cartridge, image forming method, and image forming apparatus |
abstract | Disclosed is a toner for developing an electrostatic image having excellent charge maintenance. The toner includes toner base particles containing a binder resin and an external additive, the external additive contains inorganic particles having a fatty acid metal salt on the surface and inside thereof, and the fatty acid metal salt is carbon. A toner for developing an electrostatic charge image, which is a metal salt of a fatty acid having a number of 8 or less. The toner for developing an electrostatic image is preferably a non-magnetic one-component toner, and more preferably a positively charged non-magnetic one-component toner. Moreover, it is preferable that the inorganic particle in which the fatty acid metal salt is present on the surface and inside is obtained by impregnating the porous inorganic particles with the fatty acid metal salt.
