abstract An indirect bonding tray for orthodontic treatment is produced from a patient's dental arch model that is manufactured using digital data and a rapid prototyping process. The model includes one or more guides for orienting the orthodontic appliance to a desired position on the teeth of the model of the dental arch model. The holder is connected to the archwire slot of the brace and is brought into contact with the guide to move the brace to the desired position for later manufacturing the indirect bonding tray.
