titleOfInvention | Determination of oxychloride ion |
abstract | An oxychloride ion quantification method capable of quantifying oxychloride ions easily in a short time is provided. The method for quantifying oxychloride ions according to the present invention comprises adding a silver salt to a solution to be measured containing chloride ions and oxychloride ions, precipitating and separating the chloride ions as silver chloride, The liquid to be measured is subjected to an analysis method using plasma to quantify the concentration of chlorine derived from oxychloride ions in the liquid. The liquid to be measured contains an anion composed of a nonmetallic element other than chlorine, and the liquid to be measured is preferably quantified without removing the ions.
