abstract | A main object of the present invention is to provide a twist ball type electronic paper or the like that can suppress damage or the like of a sealing portion. A twist ball layer disposed between the substrate, the transparent electrode substrate and the counter electrode substrate and having a solvent layer containing a twist ball and a solvent; and the twist ball layer disposed around the twist ball layer; A sealing portion composed of a heat sealing layer, and the sealing portion is disposed inside at least one outer peripheral end of the transparent electrode base material and the counter electrode base material.
