abstract |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To react with an impact modifier such as an epoxy silane coupling agent or a functional group-containing thermoplastic elastomer by using oligoarylene sulfide purified and removed as a by-product in the polymerization process of polyarylene sulfide resin. A method for producing an excellent high molecular weight polyarylene sulfide resin is provided. A polyarylene sulfide resin characterized by melt-polymerizing 0.01 to 20% by mass of a carboxyalkylamino group-containing compound and 99.99 to 80% by mass of an oligoarylene sulfide in a non-oxidizing atmosphere.
