abstract |
A configuration of a display device capable of obtaining sufficient fluorescence without increasing the thickness of the light control layer and without affecting the characteristics of the light control layer. A display device is sandwiched between a first substrate 10, a counter substrate 20 disposed opposite to the first substrate 10, the first substrate 10 and the counter substrate 20, and is in a transparent state. A light control layer 30 configured to be switchable to a scattering state, and a spacer 40 that regulates a gap between the first substrate 10 and the counter substrate 20 are provided. The spacer 40 includes a fluorescent dye 42 that absorbs light and emits fluorescence. [Selection] Figure 1 |
