abstract | An internal electrode of an alkali metal thermoelectric converter unit cell is drawn out. A porous metal tube is manufactured and used as a support and an internal electrode, and a bent portion of the internal electrode, that is, a portion 110 where the internal electrode is opened to the inside and outside is filled with a metal filler. Then, the pores are sealed, and the remaining portion 120 excluding the bent portion of the internal electrode is coated with a solid electrolyte 200 with a thin film, and the external electrode 300 is coated on the solid electrolyte, thereby alkali metal thermoelectric conversion. The vessel cell has durability, and at the same time, the solid electrolyte is made of a thin film having a dense microstructure. The material of the internal electrode is configured to include at least one of Mo, Ti, T, Cu, Ni, Ni—Fe, Fe, and Cu—Sn, and the metal filler is a metal melt penetration method or filler metal method at the head of the internal electrode.
