abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyurethane resin for a moisture permeable waterproof material which is excellent in all of moisture permeability, waterproof property and washing resistance. SOLUTION: The polyurethane resin for moisture permeable and waterproof material of the present invention has an activity containing a compound (S1) represented by the general formula (1) and having at least one active hydrogen and a diol (a1) having an ionic group. It is obtained by reacting the hydrogen component (A1) with the organic polyisocyanate component (B).
