A polarizing plate in which a first protective film made of a cycloolefin-based resin, a polarizing film made of a polyvinyl alcohol-based resin, and a second protective film made of an acetylcellulose-based resin are laminated in this order, When a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer having an antistatic function is provided on the surface of the protective film opposite to the polarizing film, the polarizing plate is excellent in heat resistance and moist heat resistance. A first protective film made of a cycloolefin resin is bonded to one surface of a polarizing film via an adhesive, and a second film made of an acetylcellulose-based resin is attached to the other surface of the polarizing film. In the polarizing plate in which the protective film is bonded via an adhesive, the adhesive is a photocation with respect to 100 parts by weight of the cationic polymerizable compound on both the first protective film side and the second protective film side. It is formed from a photocurable composition containing a polymerization initiator in a proportion of 2 parts by weight or less. [Selection figure] None |
