abstract |
An object of the present invention is to provide a method for preventing adhesion of microorganisms, barnacles, pearl shells, seaweeds, and the like that grow on a living net, a fishing net, fishing gear, a ship bottom, or a buoy, and a method for preventing the adhesion. SOLUTION: A polyethylene resin made conductive by mixing coconut shell activated carbon, graphite, or copper fine powder inside a polyethylene resin and heating the interior to a polyethylene resin is heated to around 270 degrees Celsius. An aquaculture net is produced using polyethylene fibers that are drawn and made conductive. By applying a weak direct current or alternating current to the aquaculture net, seawater is electrolyzed on the surface of the aquaculture net to generate a highly toxic substance.
