PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an influenza virus vaccine, particularly a pediatric vaccine for delivery to Langerhans cells. The present invention is based on the idea of using an alternative delivery route for influenza vaccines other than intramuscular injection, more specifically, a route that does not require too many antigen doses. Delivery of influenza antigens to Langerhans cells is the route selected according to the present invention. This route has been found to be particularly useful for vaccinating patients who have not received an influenza virus (ie, have not previously raised an immune response to the influenza virus). This means that it is advantageous to immunize young children. [Selection figure] None |
