abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer medium that can be used as a protective layer for a polarizer of a polarizing plate, which can achieve a reduction in thickness, weight and cost without using an expensive transparent film substrate used in a polarizer protective film. And a polarizing plate using the same, and an image display device using the polarizing plate are also provided. A transfer medium having an ultraviolet absorption function, a moisture-proof function, and a hard coat function, which is composed of one or a plurality of high-functional layers on a support, and has a tensile elastic modulus of 1000 MPa or more. A polarizing plate that does not use an expensive transparent film substrate can be provided by peeling the support after the transfer medium in a state of being laminated on the support is bonded to the polarizer.
