A curable resin composition for producing a printed wiring board includes (D) a thermosetting component having two or more cyclic ether groups and / or cyclic thioether groups in a molecule, and (B) aluminum hydroxide. And (C) true spherical silica. By containing (F) a photopolymerization initiator and (G) a photopolymerizable monomer in addition to the above components, a photocurable thermosetting resin composition can be obtained.
