abstract An object of the present invention is to provide a nuclear reactor member that can be used stably without undergoing swerling or creep deformation even when directly exposed to neutrons, without improving the operating conditions and equipment of the reactor. A member for nuclear power comprising a core part made of an aggregate of graphite particulate matter and a coating layer made of a ceramic dense body covering the core part. Graphite that is affected by neutron irradiation is used in the form of aggregates of particulate matter, and since they are not bonded to each other, it does not affect the shape and dimensions of nuclear reactor components even if swering or creep deformation occurs.
