abstract | The present invention relates to a gaming machine represented by a ball and ball game machine (pachinko machine) and a spinning machine (slot machine), and a gaming machine capable of performing various on-hold displays. In a first display mode change control, a first hold icon (a third pre-change icon b3 in FIG. 281) is changed from a first display mode (question mark display mode) to a second display mode (“ ”Temperature” display mode) is at least changed over the first time (time corresponding to 182 frames) (change animation display control in FIG. 281). The hold icon (the third pre-change icon b3 in FIG. 282) is changed from the same third display mode (question mark display mode) as the first display mode to the fourth display mode ("heat" display mode).
