titleOfInvention Pitch suppression method
abstract A method for suppressing adverse effects caused by pitch in a papermaking process is provided. A method for suppressing pitch in a papermaking process, wherein one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of melamine resin, urethane resin, polyvinyl alcohol, and protein are used, and the concentration of suspended substances is 1.0% by mass or less. It is a pitch suppression method added to a certain process water. The pitch suppression method of circulating the said process water to the pulp raw material system whose density | concentration of a suspended solid is more than 1 mass% after the addition of the said compound.
