abstract |
Disclosed is a developer for developing an electrostatic charge image, which has a good toner cleaning property and a stable image quality when a halftone image is formed after forming an image at a low image density. An electrostatic charge comprising a toner and a carrier, wherein the amount of free silicone oil in the carrier is in the range of 12.5 ppm to 450 ppm and the amount of free silicone oil in the developer is in the range of 35 ppm to 540 ppm.
