abstract | A rubber composition for a tread that can improve fuel economy, wet grip performance, and wear resistance in a well-balanced manner, and a pneumatic tire using the same. A rubber component and silica are contained, the rubber component has a unit of a conjugated diene, a unit represented by the formula (1) and the formula (2), and at least one end of the copolymer by the compound (G).
