titleOfInvention | PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION FOR DIABETES TREATMENT AND METHOD OF SCREENING THE ACTIVE INGREDIENT |
abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of diabetes comprising a substance capable of suppressing gluconeogenesis in the liver as an active ingredient. Another object of the present invention is to provide a simple screening system for obtaining an active ingredient of the pharmaceutical composition, and further to provide a pharmaceutical composition for treating diabetes containing a substance obtained by the screening system. An object of the present invention is to provide diabetes, hyperthyroidism, pituitary function, which contains as an active ingredient a substance that suppresses activation of gluconeogenic enzyme by K (lysine) acetyltransferase 2A (KAT2A). It can be solved by a pharmaceutical composition for prevention or treatment of a disease accompanied by an increase in blood glucose level selected from hypertension, hyperadrenocorticism, and obesity.
