abstract |
The present invention provides a noble metal compound-containing liquid that has a low impurity content and is stably dispersed in water, which is useful for inhibiting corrosion of plant structure members of boiling water nuclear power. An aqueous solution of hexahydroxoplatinate containing alcohol is brought into contact with a hydrogen ion cation exchange resin, and the cation contained in the aqueous solution is replaced with hydrogen ions to form a suspension. The resulting suspension is irradiated with gamma rays. As a result, a colloidal solution of platinum oxide that has few impurities and is stably dispersed in water can be obtained.
