abstract | In photoacoustic tomography, an image in which the influence of a light amount distribution in a subject is reduced is obtained. A biological information processing apparatus includes a light source 11 that irradiates a light irradiation region 13A on a subject 13 with light 12, and an acoustic wave 16 that is generated when a light absorber 15 in the subject 13 absorbs light. And an electronic control system 18 having an amplifier for amplifying the detection signal output from the acoustic wave detector 17, and an object based on the signal amplified by the amplifier. And a signal processing device 19 for obtaining internal information. The electronic control system 18 is configured so that the gain of the acoustic wave generated at the first position in the subject with respect to the detection signal of the acoustic wave generated at the second position closer to the light irradiation region than the first position is. The gain of the amplifier is controlled so as to be larger than the gain with respect to the detection signal. [Selection] Figure 1 |
