abstract |
An energy storage type dye-sensitized solar cell having a large photovoltaic power is provided. SOLUTION: A first electrolyte layer containing a redox species having a higher redox potential than iodine and iodide ions, a second electrolyte layer, and a first electrolyte layer and a second electrolyte layer are provided. An energy storage type dye-sensitized solar cell, comprising: an exchange membrane; a photoelectrode and a counter electrode having a semiconductor provided in contact with the first electrolyte layer; and a negative electrode provided in contact with the second electrolyte layer.
