abstract A nuclear medicine diagnosis apparatus, an image processing apparatus, and an image processing program capable of generating an attenuation coefficient map having an appropriate shape are provided. A nuclear medicine diagnosis apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a contour setting unit, an attenuation map generation unit, an image generation unit, and an attenuation map evaluation unit. The contour setting unit 36 sets the contour of the head based on the nuclear medicine image of the head. The attenuation map generation unit 37 generates an attenuation coefficient map having a set outline. The image generation unit 34 generates a nuclear medicine image of the head and generates a map superimposed image in which the attenuation coefficient map and the nuclear medicine image of the head are superimposed. The attenuation map evaluation unit 38 obtains an index value for evaluating the appropriateness of the contour shape set based on the map superimposed image, and causes the display unit 22 to display the obtained index value.
