abstract The present invention provides a color treatment that is easy to pass through, can impart hair and smoothness to hair, and has good color development and color durability. (A) 0.5 to 4% by mass of a quaternary ammonium salt type cationic surfactant; (B) 0.5 to 10% by mass of a polyalkylene glycol derivative represented by the formula (I), R 1 - (CH 2 CH 2 CH 2 CH 2 O) n -R 2 ··· (I) (Wherein R 1 and R 2 are each independently a hydrogen atom or a fatty acid residue having 12 to 20 carbon atoms, and the ratio of the fatty acid residue having 12 to 20 carbon atoms in R 1 and R 2 is 0. (The number of moles of the oxytetramethylene group is 3 ≦ n ≦ 30.) (C) 1 to 20% by mass of a dihydric alcohol having 3 to 6 carbon atoms, (D) 0.3 to 1.5% by mass of one or more dyes selected from HC dyes and basic dyes Including color treatment.
