titleOfInvention Preventive and therapeutic agent for herpes simplex virus infection derived from maitake extract
abstract [PROBLEMS] To find a novel ingredient effective for prevention and treatment of herpes simplex virus infection from maitake, to develop an extraction / purification method thereof, to search for an effective action, and to use it as an external preparation. Is an issue. The present inventors have (1) a process of heat-extracting the mycelium or fruiting body of maitake in maitake with water, and (2) 20 to 70% alcohol in the extracted water-soluble fraction. And a step of removing the substance floating on the liquid surface or in the liquid or adhering to the wall surface of the container, and (3) The present invention was completed by finding that the extracted fraction of maitake produced by the process of removing alcohol and collecting the dried substance is effective for the prevention and treatment of herpes simplex virus infection.
