PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel fluorene compound containing an epoxy group having a methallyl group at the terminal. Compared to the conventionally known fluorene compounds having an allyl group, this compound is superior in regioselectivity when hydrosilylated with an Si-H-containing organosilicon compound, and has a small amount of β adduct formed inside. Therefore, this compound is a useful compound because it can be expected to improve the heat resistance of the organosilicon compound.
