titleOfInvention Decontamination method for buildings, soil or plants contaminated with radioactive materials
abstract [PROBLEMS] The Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant destroyed by the Great East Japan Earthquake contaminated a wide area with radioactive materials, and water jets are being studied for decontamination of buildings, but water jets diffuse radioactive materials more widely. Therefore, there is a need for a decontamination method for buildings, plants, or soil that does not disperse radioactive materials in the vicinity. SOLUTION: When decontaminating a building, plant or soil, a first step of spraying and applying a cleaning agent to the surface of the building or the like without scattering around the surface, and spreading all over the corner, A second step of removing and cleaning the applied cleaning agent and a third step of treating the mixture of the removed radioactive substance and the cleaning agent as radioactive waste are sequentially performed. As a result, it is possible to decontaminate a building or the like at low cost without scattering radioactive materials around the periphery. [Selection figure] None
