abstract | A method for producing a modified conjugated diene polymer having a high cis content and a high modification rate with a wide range of modifiers, a modified conjugated diene polymer produced by the method, and the modified conjugate A modified conjugated diene polymer composition containing a diene polymer is provided. A conjugated diene monomer is polymerized using a specific rare earth complex compound derived from any one selected from the group consisting of a lanthanoid element, Sc, and Y, to thereby produce a conjugated diene heavy polymer. A modified conjugated diene system comprising: a polymerization step for obtaining a polymer; and a modification step for obtaining a modified conjugated diene polymer by reacting the conjugated diene polymer with a compound capable of reacting with the conjugated diene polymer.
