titleOfInvention | Vapor-dispersed plastic film with paint adhesion and tackiness |
abstract | A vapor-dispersed laminated plastic film having paint adhesion and adhesiveness is provided. A co-extruded laminated plastic film 10 comprises an outer layer 12 formed of a polymer or copolymer having a high surface energy such as high-density polyethylene subjected to corona treatment, and a foamed polymer produced preferably by an endothermic foaming agent. A core layer 14 made of a polyolefin containing, and an inner layer 16 containing a sufficient amount of filler 20 having a sufficiently large particle size that allows water vapor to escape horizontally from the bottom of the film 10 are provided. The inner layer 16 may contain a desiccant 22 and can be embossed. In this film 10, the vapor is dispersed due to the unevenness of the surface of the inner layer 16 in contact with the substrate 18. The film 10 also has the advantage that one surface has a high paint adhesion and the other surface adheres to the substrate 18, typically a paint metal or simple metal surface.
