Disclosed are a novel compound useful for the treatment of a disease state mediated by chemokine and interleukin-8 (IL-8), and a composition thereof. A compound which is p-toluenesulfonic acid N- [4-chloro-2-hydroxy-3- (piperazine-1-sulfonyl) phenyl] -N '-(2-chloro-3-fluorophenyl) urea . A pharmaceutical composition comprising the compound and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier or diluent. A method of treating a chemokine or IL-8 mediated condition, such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease or adult respiratory distress syndrome, comprising administering the compound.
